Handcrafted size curtains/valances vary in size from store bought curtains where you have less choice of pattern/print. The sky is practically the limit when you find someone that'll custom make your window treatments. NOTE: our curtains are the rod pocket type - not the pinch/pleated ones.

Since I sew each curtain valance/panel - you'll find LOTS of different prints that I can make curtains, pillow shams, throw pillows, pillow cases, shower curtains upon request.

Please note: This is a made to order valance. It has not been sewn. Valance will be sewn upon purchase and shipped in approx. 2-7 days according to my sewing workload that varies.

ATTENTION: Valances are handcrafted and are approx. 41" wide each - due to width of fabric from manufacturer. Most windows need 2 panels per window. For wider windows, panels can be sewn together (if you purchase more than one panel)... or put on your curtain rod as several single panels.

PLEASE NOTE: I do pattern match the valances you purchase from me whenever possible (which looks sooo much nicer than valances that are cut & sewn... where you never know if your valances will go together on one window/room ~ I do take pride in how your curtains turn out... making sure they are the best they can be!!!!).... when you order them together... not days/weeks apart. If you order has shipped, I will no longer have your first purchase to cut/sew others. Important that if your window is over 28"... that you go ahead and purchase two if your window is 30 to 58" wide. Any valance panels can be sewn together to make one wide valance per window (or if you have a rod brace in the middle... where you'd need singles or multi panels for your wide window)

You will be pleased with the items I sew... as they do look professionally sewn and pressed... ready to hang upon arrival. Item(s) may need slight pressing touch up due to shipping transit.

This is a BEAUTIFUL cotton print valance that is sewn upon order. These are not mass produced... but sewn one at a time when purchased. You may purchase more than one in the quantity box above.

OPTIONS: You do have options available for the custom sewn valances you purchase from me.

1) Adding drapery lining - You'll find it listed in my store - Purchased from other sales page - search my store using word 'option' - No extra s/h for USA buyers

2) Just a rod pocket on top... with no header ruffle.... OR header ruffle on top with the rod pocket underneath @ no charge - if you do not specify at time of purchase... you will receive the header ruffle on top with the standard rod pocket (or whatever is listed on the sales page you purchase)

3) Standard rod pocket... or a 3" rod pocket (or other if needed) - @ no charge - if you do not specify at time of purchase... you will receive the standard rod pocket (or whatever is listed on the sales page you purchase)

4) Different length than what is listed - prices are same for up to stated length - vary slightly if longer

This sale is for the one unlined valance only. You may need more than one valance for you window(s). Please see size statement below. Valance can be sewn without the top header with only a rod pocket on top... but you must tell me... "no header". Valances can be sewn in any length up to 15" at stated costs... longer valances vary to length. I'd be happy to sew them in any length you prefer.

PLEASE NOTE: Your window may be wider than you think it actually is. One valance will look GREAT on a 20 to 25/28" window... however if your window is wider than 28"... you need another valance up to 58" width window. If no ruler or tape measure is available to measure your window... try putting your palms together in front of the window you wish to purchase this valance (like praying). If your window is wider than your elbows (with palms still together)... you most likely need a 2nd valance... which I'm more than happy to sew. This is just a tip... not a replacement for the ruler/tape measure if one is available. ;)

I sew each valance upon order. Since they are sewn to order... if you need a length shorter than what is listed, just let me know... there is no charge for shorter lengths / widths. Finished length of this valance will be approx. 15" (that's one inch header ruffle... plus 14" from top of rod to the bottom of valance). If you want it sewn shorter... just tell me. (no charge for shorter lengths) I want you to LOVE your items... and you have to tell me your preferred sizes. Just be sure to send me the rod width... and how long you'd like the curtain / valance. I'll be able to tell you the sizes that will work best with your window by the measurements you send.

The valance is unlined. Have both the white cotton and white blackout drapery lining that can be sewn into the panel... making it a higher quality... longer lasting valance. The option of adding drapery lining is listed in my store... just enter 'option' in my store search box. There is no extra s/h for lining when shipped inside the USA. International s/h varies.

If you need help in ordering any of the curtains / valances that I sew... just email me. Just be sure to tell me your curtain rod width... and the finished length you'd like your curtain. Tops can also be with the header ruffle on top or ONLY the rod pocket on top... with no header ruffle. Item will be sent with the header ruffle on top with the rod pocket directly below if you do not specify the rod pocket on top when you send payment.

One Single Valance - additional available in quantity box

One Valance fits a window up to 28" wide, you'd need 2 valances for windows 29-58"... 3 or more for wider windows
Each quality sewn valance is approximately 41" wide by 15" length including a 1" top ruffle and 1 3/4" rod pocket (if you need shorter lengths than what is listed here... just let me know the length you'd like ~ Shorter lengths no extra charge... however longer lengths vary slightly in price)
To furnish a better valance fullness... valance should be 1.5x to 2x the width of your window
